Calling all women, all nations, Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunties, Sisters, Daughters and our Brothers, Uncles, Grandfathers, Sons will stand with us.
This is a peaceful gathering of Indigenous women, standing united, showing our support for the Idle No More Movement, and for Chief Theresa Spence.
There will be a symbolic meeting with our relatives from Bellingham side… as a symbol that both sides of the border are in support of justice for our people, as a sign of support for Idle No More, and as a symbol that both sides support Chief Theresa Spence.
We will have a moment of silence, and an elder to do a prayer for our people, and for Chief Spence.
