Western Washington University is close to becoming the first public university to divest from fossil fuels.

Come Thursday night to learn more about this and what you can do to further this effort.

Students for Renewable Energy invite you to come learn more about he nationwide college movement to divest from fossil fuels at a panel on divestment this Thursday, March 7th in Academic West 204 (first floor).

Join students, faculty, and community members for a discussion about Western’s investments in fossil fuels and the pros and cons of seeking a socially responsible investment policy alternative.

The confirmed panelists for the event include:-

Gene Myers, WWU Professor, Huxley College of the Environment
