It was a good weekend for progressive people and those who want to resist the agenda of the current administration and work toward supporting and helping those most vulnerable and marginalized.
On Saturday we saw the second women’s march, in Bellingham called March On Bellingham. The attendance rivaled last year’s numbers only slightly fewer. The signs were more to the current situation and diverse.
On Sunday the 4th People’s Movement Assembly was held where the folks present worked on selected issues to discuss the issue, identify solutions and indicate those which each of us would commit to working on in the coming year.
