RESTORATIVE COALITION LOGO

What is the nature of the jail industry and how does it work as an economic business model?  The Restorative CommUnity Coalition brings new voices to the conversation around the jail issues.  This conference will illustrate how the Restorative Economic model can effectively be implemented.  The roots of community and national problems regarding this issue start locally.  We cannot sustain the current punitive and downward spiral of our jail and prison systems. Let’s build a Restorative Justice system that works for all segments of our community and a better future.

We believe this conference establishes a starting point for this goal and we invite you to join us and our power packed panels for their experiences and then discussion of these subjects.

Some of our panelists and presenters include:

Breean Beggs – Smart Justice, Spokane, Don Kirchner – Author of Return to Honor, Craig Sims – Seattle Criminal Divisions Chief, Representative from Animals As Natural Therapy, Irene Morgan – Founder Restorative CommUnity Coalition, Debbie David – RCC Board Member

Facilitators include:

Joy Gilfilen – President RCC, Mary Dumas – Specialist in Public Engagement, Andrea Brennecke – Founder Seattle Restorative Justice.
