Emergency Proposal
Barb announced that there will be a “No Coal Rally” on Friday the 31st at 5 o’clock @ the Federal Building, sponsored by Coal Free Bellingham and the Socialist Alternative. (Please Note: After the meeting I did some research and I see that Coal-Free Bellingham does not seem to be sponsoring this event, but NO-COAL! is. )She made the following emergency proposal:

#OB supports the No Coal Rally on the 31st
#OB will hold the Friday GA at 3pm at the Library Lawn, so we can attend the rally.
#OB will set up the Literature Table at the Rally
#OB members will bring baked goods to sell at our table to raise funds for #OB
#OB will recruit people to attend with an announcement on the website and via our email list.

A couple of notes (I am an organizer of this rally):

Decolonize Whatcom is an organizing partner in this protest.

No Coal! is the PAC behind Coal-Free Bellingham. For all intents and purposes, they are one and the same.

I hope that this clarifies the parties involved.
