Local MTA affiliate – Whatcom Move to Amend, with other local grassroots organizations is providing a presentation on the national movement and our local effort to join 16 other states in calling for an amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

Our speaker for the evening will be Kim Jordan,

I-1329 Campaign Field Leader for Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan counties. She will show a Lawrence Lessig video “Republic Lost” which explains the current state of political campaign funding and why this system does not work for any political party or 99.9 % of voters. Kim will then overview the many solutions offered by national movements and specifically I-1329 in our state.

Our Goal is to educate and inspire action!
