Are you ready for the
2016 Localize This! Action Camp?

Last year showcased the power of “We The People,” from Black Lives Matter to Kayaktivism!  Now, let’s:

  • Lock arms with passionate action-oriented change agents from across the country.

  • Dive into a week of intensive training, strategizing, learning, and sharing of victory stories with some of the movements most effective organizers.

  • Take action before everything we value or hold as sacred is extracted, exploited, and extinguished.

When Tuesday June 21st – Monday June 27th.
Where:  Vashon Island, WA – a short ferry ride from Seattle. (We encourage people to arrive the night before and leave on the morning after the final action and closing celebration.)
Cost:  Sliding scale $200-$500 for week (No one will be turned away for lack of funds*) Per day $30-$75 (suggested). Consider seeking sponsorship from your community or organizations.
Food:  Three delicious vegetarian community meals a day included with registration. We can accommodate most diets.
Camping:  Bring your own camping gear to stay dry, warm, and cozy if you can (Let us know if you need to borrow some gear). A limited number of home stays may be available.
Why:  You owe it to yourself and the important work you are engaged in to reflect, train, and vision together with fellow change makers. Whichever is your issue or campaign, we hope action camp strengthens your organizing endeavors. Carve out a week to:
  • *rejuvenate your spirit
  • *connect with and share inspiration among other passionate change agents
  • *leave with renewed vigor and a host of new skills to more effectively engage in positive social transformation.
