Since 2006 our Coalition has been studying the negative ripple effects of incarceration on Whatcom County, and discovering all the different ways we can reverse the pattern of self-destructive behavior using community collaboration. During this evening’s meetings we will discuss the first set of 9 ways that our community can work together to rebuild our local economy from the effects of over-criminalization, poverty, trauma and war.
