“Resist: The Unist’ot’en’s Call to the Land.”

This friday some supporters of the camp will be showing the 30 minute film, “Resist: The Unist’ot’en’s Call to the Land.”

When: March 13th, 5:30-7pm

Where: ReSources for Sustainable Communities, 2309 Meridian St.

The film centers the voices of Wet’suwet’en and Gitxsan land defenders who have permanently reoccupied unceded Unist’ot’en territory in so-called british columbia, and are blocking the construction of a massive tar sands pipeline corridor backed by the kanadian state.

Supporters of the camp will be there to discuss ongoing support work for the camp happening in Bellingham. We will also be collecting financial donations for the camp at the screening, selling high quality photo prints of scenes from camp, and have other camp-related goodies for sale. All proceeds go directly to land defenders!
